Shimizu Shinichi (清水信一)

Shinichi SHIMIZU (Male; May 10, 1910-January 10, 1969) was a religious leader in Japan.

Born in Mitani Village, Enuma County, Ishikawa Prefecture (Enuma County, Ishikawa Prefecture).

The founder of Tenso Kokyo. Devotees of the Tenso Kokyo called Shinichi "Beigan no Kuju."

When he was 14 years old, on August 6, 1923, he was suddenly spirited away while he was swimming with his friends in Kamagafuchi located at the upper reaches of the Takeda-gawa River, which flows into the Kuzuryu-gawa River, and he entered Mt. Kurama-yama.

Until his early thirties, he traveled around Japan, Korea, and Manchuria, and received a revelation of 'Tenso,' a god of creation of the universe. In 1942, Shinichi built a sanctuary, Tenbori in Moriyama Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, and established a religious corporation, Tenso Kokyo.

Also, he created scriptures called 'Voice of Sphinx,' wrote both the lyrics and music of 'Amono Seika,' and edited 'Utaseiten.'
